Project Overview

A key flood-mitigation civil engineering initiative involving the construction of a 2-kilometer reinforced concrete drainage channel to prevent seasonal waterlogging and protect critical road infrastructure along the Ikorodu–Ibeshe corridor.

Scope of Work

  • Excavation and alignment of 2,000 meters of channel path.
  • In-situ casting of reinforced concrete box and U-channel drains.
  • Installation of heavy-duty culvert crossings and access covers.
  • Outfall channel construction to ensure efficient rainwater discharge into natural waterways.
